THAI FILMAKER TO VISIT WEXNER CENTER IN NOVEMBER 2004
Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul (who answers to the nickname "Joe") comes to the Wexner Center for the Arts, OSU November 12 and 13, 2004. "Joe" has quickly become one of global cinema's most dazzling discoveries ! Born in a small city in northeast Thailand, he is deeply engaged with contemporary Thai culture. Two of Joe's three feature-length films have won top prizes at Cannes Film Festivals (including this year's Jury Prize for Tropical Malady).
