International Scholar Research Exposition
Call for submission of abstracts DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 10/27/2005!

The Ohio State University Office of International Education (OIE) will
host the First Annual International Scholar Research Exposition from
November 14 - December 30, 2005. This six week exposition, which will be
housed in Bricker Hall (location of the office of the president), will
showcase in poster format, the world-class research being undertaken by
J-1 scholars like you. At a time when OSU is garnering much attention
because of its prestigious climb to the top 10 public research
universities in the U.S., it is important that we show some of the
research that has contributed to this ascent in ranking. Furthermore, it
is intended to raise awareness of the outstanding contributions
international scholars are making not only to our community but also to
advancing the cause of humanity world-wide.

There will be an opening reception on Wednesday December 7, 2005 where
participating scholars can meet, greet, and discuss their research with
President Karen Holbrook, university administrators, faculty, and
colleagues.

OIE invites all J-1 scholars engaged in research to submit an abstract
detailing their research. Abstracts will be accepted until 5:00pm on
Thursday, October 27, 2005. Email submissions should be sent with the
